With my experience including both global roles and hands-on operational experience, I enable organisations to deliver practical & pragmatic leadership solutions. Strategic Compliance

Alongside my leadership experience I have in-depth Compliance expertise developed over 20 years including a global compliance management role, and as Head of Compliance in a major insurer. I have led successful & energised teams, and developed & maintained strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders including boards, regulators and industry bodies. I offer training, workshops & remediation advice for boards and senior management on how to successfully lead governance & regulatory responsibilities, whether business, advisory or oversight functions. I enable regulated firms to build effective frameworks to successfully manage today's increasing regulatory demands.

About ME

My Leadership Experience

Great leadership has always been one of my passions, and I have been in leadership for the last 34 years in both banking and insurance. Key leadership successes during those years include strategic leadership and unprecedented growth in retail banking products, significant product and sales development in insurance, and leading Compliance both in Dublin and in a global role based in Munich, ensuring that business needs were a priority while building & evolving effective Compliance frameworks. I was also a member of the Executive Management team in Allianz Ireland for 11 years. I have been privileged to lead great teams.

My Compliance Experience

I have direct experience in all aspects of the Compliance framework, having worked locally, regionally and globally. My in-depth understanding of the core regulatory requirements, and direct experience in leading practical solutions, enables me to provide strategic compliance direction & guidance. As Head of Compliance in Allianz Ireland for 13 years, I successfully implemented and managed an effective Compliance strategy and framework & led an enthusiastic & effective team. My subsequent years in a global compliance role, and now providing consultancy across Europe, have expanded this experience in different jurisdictions, overseeing & developing effective compliance in different cultures, regulatory environments and businesses.

My Coaching and Mentoring Experience

Business mentors & coaches are key to empowering success & I am excited to share my knowledge & expertise with you. I have been providing coaching and mentoring for the last 28 years and offer clients a comprehensive consult.

In coaching I enable you to explore ways to move forward, giving you the opportunity to look at situations from a fresh perspective.

In mentoring I enable you to learn and develop by facilitative questions, sharing my leadership experience and insights.
